HealthTek DAO $HEAL token holders will vote on HIPs and must take certain actions to ensure their votes are accountable.  Delegation or delegate your tokens to ensure voting rights.  A token holder can delegate their tokens to someone else, such as a councilor, chamber of councilors, or another community member, to vote in their stead.  Regardless, you must either Delegate to yourself or another member.  When you delegate to the council board, councilor, or another member, your tokens stay securely in your wallet.  You can change your delegations at any time or to whom you delegate.

Delegation rules/requirements:

• You will not be able to create HIPs after you delegate (except if you delegate to yourself): Our DAO has a token gate on who can create HIPs, and if you delegate your voting power, then you can no longer create hips.
• You can claim your voting power at any time: You can claim your voting power and start voting yourself at any time.
• If you delegate your voting power to yourself while a HIP is live, you cannot vote on that live HIP. You must wait for a new HIP to be created before you can vote. This is because a snapshot of voting power is taken at the beginning of the HIP’s period.
